Hi Mona, you are making great progress. I heard from Sandra the weird behaviour between Maya 8 & 8.5. I think that this sort of "Accidents" create the best opportunities to stumble over something novel. The images you depict here show allready a lot of potential for the issues you are exploring. I think that the issue of gradients is hinting into a specific direction that could be termed as a "heterogenous gradient" There is opportunities to explore the behaviour of this conditions in relation to urban textures. (Higher density, lower density, dispersion) Its interesting to see how the population of elements on your site disperse and pollinate throughout the envelope of the site. Keep on this track, especially the image on the upper left corner is gorgeous!
